There are four smaller rooms attached to the WCCML, one of which is dedicated for device construction and assembly. The fabrication room is equipped with various hand tools, a small metal shear, Dremel tool, two binocular microscopes, and numerous soldering stations. Enough to construct simple antenna structures, attach connectors, and populate PCBs with components.

The fabrication capabilities of the WCCML are expected to be greatly enhanced in 2006 by the incorporation of the Material Wave Interactions Laboratory.
