Purpose: The goal of the award is to encourage and reward graduate students
and post-doctoral fellows for excellence in the field of Neural Engineering.
The special emphasis will be on innovative integration between engineering
and  neuroscience. The women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply
to the award.

Eligibility: Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from US institutions
are eligible for the travel award. The paper must be accepted and presented at
the conference.

Conditions: Submit the following information by Feb 16, 2007 to Ms
Jacquelynn Seymour <JACQUELYNN.SEYMOUR@asu.edu>:

1) Letter stating the originality and the relevance of the work to the first
Neural Engineering conference.

2) Copy of paper submitted to the conference.

3) All graduate and postdoctoral fellows will be asked to provide a 2 page
summary report of new insights gleaned from his/her participation in the
Neural Enginering conference to be submitted to the NIH

4) Graduate and post-doctoral fellows are required to present the paper
at the conference.
