International Symposium on Advanced Nanodevices and Nanotechnology

This is the second in a series of joint conferences, following the previous one held in Waikaloa, Hawaii, in December 2007. These conferences bring together the the series of New Phenomena in Mesoscopic Structures (NPMS) and the the series of Surfaces and Interfaces of Mesoscopic Devices (SIMD). This second conference will be held on the island of Maui, at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa, situated atop Black Rock at Kaanapali Beach. The conference will be held November 29-December 4, 2009, and will be a single 5-day conference with morning and evening sessions, and afternoon ad hoc sessions.

Scope of the Conference

The scope of ISANN spans nano-fabrication through complex phase coherent mesoscopic systems including nano-transistors and nano-scale characterization. Topics of interest include:

The program will be a combination of invited, oral, and poster presentations based upon abstracts submitted to the program committee.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa, in the Kaanapali Beach Resort, on the west coast of Maui. This resort is a few miles north of the village of Lahaina. It is reached through the key airport of Kahului (OGG) in central Maui, which has direct flights from several west coast cities on several airlines. One can also reach the site via the West Maui airport which is served by flights to/from Honolulu. A block of rooms has been reserved, at the rate of $175 for run of ocean.
