Members of AzPath work in collaboration with the Housing Research Institute. The membership fees support the research that HRI does on the members' behalf. Research is an invaluable part of HRI’s program as HRI works in conjunction with AzPath members to improve the quality, affordability, durability, and energy efficiency of new and existing homes.  Through research we are able to study current trends, materials, practices, and processes used in homebuilding, analyze data collected through study, and thereby discover areas for improvement and create training programs and innovative methods that will aid the industry in effecting these improvements.

Every other month, on the first Wednesday of the month, an AzPath meeting is held over lunch in the Trophy Room Restaurant at Karsten Golf Course. At this meeting, HRI and AzPath members discuss the recent research and the results as they will affect the individual builders and subcontractors. Also open for discussion are areas where the members would like research to be done, specifically, what will benefit their companies most.
