Motivated Engineering Transfer Students (METS) Program

Welcome to the METS home page, your online resource guide to everything you want to know about the Motivated Engineering Transition Scholars (METS) Program.

The METS center is located in the Engineering Center A wing building at ASU Main in Tempe, on the second floor, room 228. For those with a map or familiar with the campus: ECA 228

We are open: M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm

What is METS?

The objective of the METS program is to help engineering and computer science transfer students from community colleges become accustomed to university life. METS offers events, workshops, a mentoring program, and a study center with computer access. The METS staff is comprised of successful fellow engineering transfer students who are willing and happy to help all incoming and current engineering transfer students. Once you are part of METS, you will find yourself surrounded with a number of resources to guide you to successfully earning your engineering degree.

As well as a study room, the METS Center has these items and services for use by METS members:

  • Mini Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Coffee Maker
  • Computers with MATLAB
  • Free Printing
