The Entrepreneurial Programs Office (EPO) in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering provides education, research, and service to the students and faculty of the school of engineering, the ASU community, and the Arizona Valley region.
The EPO was launched in September 2004, and has developed a number of programs that are making an impact. The EPO has an undergraduate curriculum in engineering entrepreneurship that includes a 15-credit certificate program. The popular Engineering Entrepreneurship course (FSE 301) is offered each semester and enrolls more than 100 students per year.
At the graduate level, the EPO offers a course in Technology Entrepreneurship (FSE 501). This course is taught live each fall, and then offered online during Spring and Summer semesters. Students from around the world enroll in the online version of the course, making for a very stimulating experience.
This summer, the EPO is also offering its first graduate level course in Strategic Enterprise Innovation (FSE 502). As companies around the world strive to become innovative and “entrepreneurial”, they are searching for tools and techniques to help them achieve that end. This class will also be available online during the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 semesters.
The EPO also coordinates the Arizona Technology Investor Forum (ATIF). ATIF is an angel investing community that in 2007 invested over $750,000 in several high potential technology ventures based in the Arizona Valley.
We invite you to explore the EPO website to find the programs and resources that are right for you. Please let us know if you have any questions about our programs and services.
Sincerely,

Thomas Duening
