THE ASU TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE WAS HELD ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2006
The competition featured eight teams comprised of students from the Fulton School of Engineering and the WP Carey School of Business. Students developed business plans and PowerPoint presentations, and presented them to a panel of five judges. The judges examined the plans from the perspective of the ability of the venture to attract funding, the profit potential of the idea, the quality of the management team, and other criteria. Prizes were awarded as follows:
1st Prize: $20,000 to Watel Solutions
2nd Prize: $10,000 to Coyote Technologies, Inc.
3rd Prize: $5,000 to Smart Shipping, Inc.
