Intern Selection Process
Interns are selected as follows:
1. A brief job description and your employment information will be heavily advertised among all participating students (all of whom have been screened and accepted into our program). The resumes of students interested in your position will be sent out to your company for review.
2. You may interview any student you are interested in, or simply select a student to sponsor from the resumes.
3. Once you have chosen an intern who seems appropriate for your needs, simply notify our Office with your decision and you will be given a fee schedule and authorization letter template. These documents will aide you in selecting a pay rate based on the student's internship status.
4. You will then submit an authorization letter to ASU notoing the student's name, length of sponsorship, amount of fees, and payment procedure.
5. ASU will hire the student interns and assign them to your company. A student can begin working at your company site upon receipt of the authorization letter and payment.
