Travel Grant Program

This program will assist in funding students to national conferences to present their research findings.  An incredible way for students to compare data and above all, learn new ideas and methods while conferring with peers.  A truly enriching experience, the students will be immersed in their chosen profession and contributing to their knowledge base as a whole.

Frequently Asked Questions for the Travel Grant Program

1. Who is eligible?

Any Fulton School of Engineering undergraduate student in good academic standing, who is engaged in research and will present their findings at a recognized conference.

3. Are student groups eligible?

Unfortunately, we do not have the budget to fund student groups.  The FURI Travel Grant Program is designed to fund individual students engaged in research and who will travel to present their research findings.

4. Does the student have to be accompanied by a faculty member on the travel?

Not necessarily. Each individual application will be evaluated.

5. Does the student have to present?

Yes. The student must be presenting at the conference either in a poster format or an oral presentation.
