Finding a mentor and research opportunities
What students and faculty are saying about FURI
Mentors wanting to advertise their research interests should mail the information to furi@asu.edu.
This program will assist in funding students to national conferences to present their research findings. An incredible way for students to compare data and above all, learn new ideas and methods while conferring with peers. A truly enriching experience, the students will be immersed in their chosen profession and contributing to their knowledge base as a whole.
Travel costs not in excess of $700 will be considered.
Frequently Asked Questions for the Travel Grant Program
1. Who is eligible?
Any Fulton School of Engineering undergraduate student in good academic standing, who is engaged in research and will present their findings at a recognized conference.

4. Does the student have to be accompanied by a faculty member on the travel?
Not necessarily. Each individual application will be evaluated.
5. Does the student have to present?
Yes. The student must be presenting at the conference either in a poster format or an oral presentation.
